I'm wondering how beneficial online memorials really are?? Have they been beneficial for them over long periods of time? for example: Do you think that children seeing their mothers pictures/videos online would ever be stuck in the past? Or have a difficult time with a new step-mom who is not perfect like their mother seems to them online? How could this affect children developmentally? Also, how would a relationship be affected if a parent remarries and the new spouse sees the widow/er constantly obsessing over the deceaced spouses online memorial?

Dr Keith:

Thank you for this overview. I am glad to see that what I am feeling is normal. I will take your advice, though, and talk to someone about dealing with grief depression.

Thanks,

Rick G.
